Short Wavy Hair In all hairstyles short wavy hair is quite easy to style up. Well I think in my own opinion it is true. A person with short wavy hair doesn't need much of the creams, gels, etc., to style his or her hair. All it takes is a good shower and after drying the hair, just scrunch it a little, with or without a little amount of water based gel and you are ready to go. Short wavy hair seems to be stylish just the way it is. One good method in keeping short wavy hair looking good is to apply or soak it wih coconut milk, perhaps once a week. By the way coconut oil can also be used as conditioner for any hair types. Applying coco milk to the hair keeeps it smooth, shiny and healthy. It also helps the hair to maintain its natural thickness. 
Some actors in the movie The Lord of the Rings trilogy have short wavy hairs. Most of them have hair neck length and it looks so cool. Actually several actors and actresses in Hollywood have gorgeous short wavy hair. It's so dazzling. It's easy to style and easy to dry up also after a cool shower. 
Naturally having this hair type is also a plus for some. It is just simply stylish, once the hair grows at a certain length you can style it in several ways. You can also apply gel or mousse to give it more body. But always remember to use the water based gels or mousse. This is to prevent that sticky feeling. Taking care of this hair type is not that difficult compared to straight hair types. Short wavy hair type is kinda a rugged, good to go hair type. So you don't have to be more conscious if they are messy or crumpled up. What I am saying is, this hair type (short wavy) is not so noticeable when it is kinda messed up compared to straight hairs wherein it sticks out easily when cut too short or if it's a long straight hair, it only take a gush of wind and you look like you're hit by a tornado. Wavy hair types on the other hand is easily managable, you can even tie it like a ponytail, if it's long. If it's shorter then you can just scrunch it a bit then wallah! there you have a cool looking modern hairstyle.

This sort of hair can either be natural or artificially made. It usually incorporates the characteristics of both straight and curly hair. It is usually quit easy to make such a hair artificially. The procedure to do such is as follows; Permanent Texturing:Here, chemicals are used to alter hair texture thus producing such a hair texture. This usually last for weeks or even months. Temporal Texturing:Here, styling products like Mousse or Hold Gel are used followed by hair braiding. Also this can be done using hot tools like hot Iron or hot rollers. Add on Texturing:This involves the use of wigs or extensions which are wavy in nature and are short (ear level). One should note that in order to make our hair wavy and short, it should have the following characteristics; -The hair must be short to ease the process. That is, the hair should be shaved or at ear level. -The hair should be dry. -The hair should be in good condition. That is, it should not be a damaged hair. Short wavy hair be it natural or artificial are difficult to keep in shape. Below are three ingredients that could be used to maintain and keep such a hair healthy; *Avocado:It is used to restore the hair's texture and improve its quality. The avocado is mashed, applied to the hair and washed some hours later. *Olive Oil: It improves the look of this hair type. It is applied and rinsed thoroughly after 15 minutes. *Dried Thyme Leaves: This leaf fights dry scalp and dandruffs. Two leaves are boiled with a cup of water for two minutes, allowed to cold and applied to hair and left there for an hour for the hair to absorb it completely. Short wavy hairhas the following advantage over the other hair types; -It can be easily styled (Like color addition, adding curls to the hair and tightly layered wavy hair style). -Such a hair type is easy going and free flowing. -They are quick to create requiring less time. To conclude, there is no ideal hair style. This is so because each hair style has its flaws and advantages. Thus we should choose our hair style base on our face structure and we should enjoy what ever hair style we wear. |
